When assembling your mop, take the coupler and place it on the threaded end of the mop handle. Push it down completely to attach (with the threaded end sticking out the coupler). Assemble the remainder of the handle by twisting both parts of the mop handle together clockwise. To reease the handle lock for extension, turn the smaller coupler counterclockwise. Your mop is now ready to use.
